FOUNTAIN VALLEY CANNED FOOD DRIVE 2012
|
This year the Fountain Valley Classic Car & Truck show committee, in conjunction with the Fountain Valley Community Foundation is again hosting a non-perishable food drive to help Fountain Valley families in need for the holidays this December. The collected donations will be distributed to individuals and families residing within our city limits.We sincerely hope you will make a donation- The bright green collection containers can be found at the following locations; |

Staff would like to thank those who partricipated in this event- 120+ old car enthusiasts enjoyed a good breakfast at Applebee's Restaurant (opened for us only..)...the parking lot had some very interesting automobiles- from
a antique fire engine to a vintage sprint car.....After breakfast, the group was split
into two- one visiting the EUROPEAN COLLECTIBLES for a guided tour of the facility to
see how they restore those fine classics- Porsches, Mercedes Benz, Aston Martin, etc. while
the others took a tour of the Croul Collection- consisting of vintage Miglia Mille cars
and other historical race cars and motorcycles. We like to thank both the Fountain Valley
Applebee's Restaurant and the two above named facilities for their
hospitality. We look forward to doing a similar event next year...stay tuned....
